Future initiatives will include ESL, Drivers Ed., Self-Employment through handicrafts, Employment Assistance and other events that will allow refugees to be integrated citizens of America. Its initiatives are open to refugees of all faiths living in Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Carol Stream and Aurora. Islamic Foundation has 501 c 3 status and tax-deductible receipts are issued for all donations, including funds earmarked for the refugee population.
