PTA Qirat/Art/Speech Competition

• The PTA will be holding this annual contest and students are encouraged to participate by signing up in the office
• The competition will be held in the lower level on Sunday, November 23rd after the Zuhr Salaah
• Please note that the Qirat Club is different from this competition and will be launched on Sunday, January 11th, 2009; if interested please fill out the sign-up sheet in the office and you will be contacted for testing

CLUB INFO

• Surah Club will begin after Zuhr Salaah starting on Sunday, October 26th
• Qirat Club will begin on Sunday, January 11th during the 4th period for those selected
• Please contact Saba Azim or Aamer Abdul-Jaleel in the office for more info

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLOSING

• This section will be updated to notify any school closing/delayed opening information due to inclement weather, when applicable by 8:00 A.M. on the morning of school
• Please note that the school will be closed if there is 3 inches or more of snowfall on school grounds by morning of school

ASSEMBLY

• Children of pre-school thru 3rd grade will go to their classes at 10:00 A.M.
• Grades 4th thru 11th will meet in the gym at 10:00 A.M. sharp for Assembly, and may face after-school mandatory detention for tardiness
• 1st period teachers for Preschool - 3rd Grade are expected to be in class 5 minutes prior to the start of school and are to check into the office for any important announcements to be conveyed in their respective classes

SALAAH

• All students (accompanied by 4th period teacher) will proceed to the Masjid for Zuhr Salaah
• Students will only be allowed to leave prior to Salaah if they are signed out by a parent/guardian in the main office for an excused early dismissal
